A man who has been before the courts several times for the same offence had his luck finally ran out after he was sentenced to 10 days' imprisonment for having ganja in his possession.
Shevon Letts, of a Kingston address, appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court to answer to possession of ganja charges.
When Letts' name was called, Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey exclaimed, "You again!"
To which Letts responded, "but, Your Honour, me did deh inna mi house ah smoke it, and di police dem tek mi outta mi house with it."
His explanation was not enough to dissuade the senior magistrate who stated, "you keep coming here for it! You're gonna have to stay."
He was sentenced to 10 days in prison.
