The Westmoreland police say the man identified as a person of interest in relation to the death of a United States visitor in Negril last week has not reported to them.
Paul Hanson, otherwise called 'Oneil' of Green Island, in the neighbouring parish of Hanover, was previously given until midday last Saturday to report to the nearest police.
Hanson was asked to report to the police with his attorney.
The accident, which occurred last week Tuesday involving a jet ski, led to the death of American visitor, 53-year-old Thomas Torres Castille, who was vacationing at a resort in Negril.
Yesterday, when THE STAR contacted the commander in charge of Westmoreland Police Division, Super-intendent Carol McKenzie, he told our news team that to his knowledge Hanson is still at large.
Meanwhile, Castille, who arrived in the country four days before his death, was swimming at the Negril seven-mile beach when he was hit by a jet ski at the beach.
The operator of the jet ski fled the scene.
