Mi remember di first time mi hear 'bout him, di youngest Black professor inna di whole UK, fi real! Dat deh news alone did inspiring, yuh know. Fi see one a fi wi own, break dem kinda barriers, show di world seh anything possible if yuh put yuh mind to it, an' yuh work hard. But when mi get fi know di man, a den mi realise seh him was more dan just a title. Him was a true light, a beacon fi nuff youth weh feel dem never stand a chance.
Professor Arday, him neva act like him better dan nobody, despite all di accolades an' di big, big achievements. Him was humble, a real down-to-earth soul. Him always find time fi listen, fi share wisdom, an' fi push yuh fi see di greatness inside a yuhself. Di way him move, di way him speak, always wid a calm spirit an' a mind focused on upliftment. Him show mi seh true power nuh come from boastin', but from empowerin' others.
Him talk 'bout social justice, 'bout openin' doors fi people weh historically left out. Dat deh mission, dat passion fi mek things right, it resonate deep wid mi. Him believe inna radical kindness, yuh see, dat every single person deserve respect an' di chance fi shine. Him work tirelessly fi mek sure seh di academic world, weh sometimes feel like a closed shop, open up fi everybody, regardless a dem background or weh dem come from. Him did a real champion fi di voiceless.
So as mi reflect pon di time mi know him, an' di legacy him leave behind, mi just haffi big up Professor Jason Arday one more time. Him spirit still deh 'round, still inspiring we fi walk wid purpose, fi carry di torch a kindness an' justice.
