Remember di sweet smile and di grace she did carry as a Miss Jamaica Universe contestant? Ah, yes, di memories still fresh, and many ah we did grieve fi di sudden way she did leave us. But yuh know seh, a true Jamaican spirit nuh stay down fi long, and outta di sorrow, good things ah spring forth.
So, listen up good, unnu! Di word on di street, and a good word it is, dat a special scholarship has been set up, all inna LaToya Malcolm’s honour. This nah just some regular ting, enuh. This a way fi keep her memory alive, fi mek sure seh di light she did shine bright pon di world continue fi glow through di dreams and ambitions a fi we young people. Imagine dat, even though she gone, her legacy still a build up, still a uplift fi we next generation.
This scholarship is a beautiful tribute, a proper big-up to a woman who did embody elegance, intelligence, and pure Jamaican spirit. It mean seh more young aspiring women will get di chance fi pursue dem education, fi chase dem goals, and fi represent fi dem self and fi dem country with di same poise and determination dat LaToya did show. It’s a chance fi dem fi rise up, fi break down barriers, and fi shine bright, just like how she did.
It heart-warming fi see di community and di powers-dat-be come together fi mek dis happen. It shows seh we nuh forget fi we own, and when one ah fi we fall, we find ways fi build back stronger and fi ensure dem impact live on.
