It a real sad situation when somebody leave dem yard inna New York, hop pon a plane, and come a Jamaica fi catch some breeze, only fi meet dem end inna such a tragic way. People inna the community still a shake dem head, wondering how a simple vacation coulda tun into a nightmare so quick. The lady, who did come fi enjoy the island vibes, never know say her final moments woulda be spent inna pure terror and fear.
The report dem say things get heated up inna one villa inna the Westmoreland area. It wasn't no secret say something was wrong because the neighbor dem hear the noise and the commotion. People say the poor woman was a scream out, desperate fi help. Her last words, according to the word pon the street, was a frantic plea fi somebody "call the cops." You can only imagine the fear she must have feel, inna a place far from home, hoping say the law woulda reach in time fi save her life from whatever danger was at her door.
But by the time the police dem roll up and the siren dem stop wail, the damage did already done. When the authorities enter the building, dem find the woman body, and the life did already leave her. It send a cold shiver down the spine of everybody inna the area. Jamaica is a place of sun and beauty, but when blood spill like that, it leave a dark cloud over the whole parish. The police now have a big job pon dem hand fi figure out exactly who responsible and bring dem to justice, because a visitor death always carry a heavy weight and bring a lot of unwanted attention.
Right now, the family back inna the United States inna deep mourning. Dem send her off with a smile, expecting her fi come back with stories of the beach and the food, but instead, dem get a phone call that no family member ever want hear. The local people inna the tourist industry also worried, because dem know say this kind of news travel fast and can make people feel uneasy bout coming to the island. Dem a pray say the truth come out fast and the person who do this pay the price.

The whole of Westmoreland a talk bout it, and the pressure deh pon the investigators fi make sure dem find the person who do this wicked act. We hope the soul of the departed find peace, and the family get the strength dem need fi carry through this dark time. It is a tragedy that didn't have to happen, and it leave a scar on the heart of the community that won't heal for a long time.
