Two men were nabbed by immigration officials in separate incidents over the last four days.
They are 23-year-old Roshane Robinson from Kingston, who was wanted for murder, and 26-year-old Damaine Samuels also called 'Damage' from St James who was wanted for shooting and illegal possession of firearm.
Samuels, who topped the list of most wanted persons in St James in January, was deported from The Bahamas for overstaying.
The police say he arrived in Jamaica and during processing, it was discovered that he left Jamaica under a false name.
He is to be interviewed by detectives in St James later this week. Robinson was arrested Wednesday when he attended the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency and submitted an application in the name Courtney Raheem Wright.
The police say during the interview, irregularities were detected and further checks led to his true identity being uncovered.
He was subsequently charged with attempting to obtain a passport by false means, uttering a forged document, obtaining driver's licence by false means and conspiracy to deceive.
He is scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court next Wednesday.
