Well-known attorney-at-law Harold Brady was granted bail in the sum of $3 million yesterday.
He is answering to fraud-related charges in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.
Brady, who is being represented by attorney-at-law Abe Dabdoub, has been ordered to return to court on March 27.
The attorney is being accused of failing to hand over monies from the sale of a property belonging to a prominent businessman.
It is being claimed that Brady brokered a deal for the sale of a property in 2014 in Stony Hill, St Andrew.
However, the vendor says the proceeds from the sale have not been paid over to him.
Brady has denied the allegations.
Meanwhile, another well-known attorney-at-law, Michael Lorne, had his bail extended and was ordered to submit his fingerprints to the police when he appeared in court Friday morning to answer to fraud charges.
Lorne, who is being represented by attorney-at-law Bert Samuels, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
A mention date of March 13 was set for the case to be brought back before the court.
The court was informed that statements are outstanding.
The attorney is charged with forgery and fraudulent conversation in relation to the sale of a property in 2011 for the amount of $6 million.
The complainant, who lives overseas, is accusing Lorne of failing to pay over $3 million to her from the sale.
