WESTERN BUREAU:
Three St James men who were arrested and charged in connection with the December 2014 shooting death of Melbourne 'Bernie' Plummer are slated to return before the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on January 27.
Brandon Stora, André Simpson and Prince Marston are charged with the murder of Plummer, who was residing in Glendevon, in the parish, at the time of his death.
The three men were given the return date by presiding magistrate Carolyn Tie, when they appeared in court on Tuesday, although it was not outlined what was outstanding from the prosecution's case-file.
It is alleged that on December 31, 2014, Plummer had made arrangements to have his hair done at a barbershop. During that errand, he was shot by unknown assailants and later pronounced dead at hospital.
Stora, Simpson and Marston were subsequently arrested and charged, following police investigations.
