Up to late yesterday, the Clarendon police say they were still searching for a still-at-large suspect responsible for the death of a teenager in the parish on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Michael Patterson of a Red Road, Palmers Cross, Clarendon address.
The police's Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reports that on Thursday at approximately 11:15 a.m., residents discovered Patterson's body on a footpath.
Subsequently, the police were summoned. Upon their arrival, the body was seen with multiple gunshot wounds. The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue.
No motive has yet been established for the attack.
Investigations continue.
