Three persons have been detained for questioning following a drive-by shooting on Sunday in Arnett Gardens which claimed the lives of two men, including the nephew of a popular community figure.
THE STAR understands that a tense calm now exists in the community, more popularly known as 'Jungle', as resident are on edge. It is reported that some are fearing the repercussions the double murder may bring.
The dead men have been identified as 39-year-old Christopher Tracy, otherwise called 'Kiddy Fur', and 37-year-old Willie Picton, otherwise called 'Pops'.
They were attacked along Septimus Street Sunday afternoon.
THE STAR gathered that Tracy died while been transported to the hospital, and Picton died while undergoing surgery. Head of the Kingston Western Police Division, Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor, confirmed that persons were detained for questioning and that investigations are ongoing.
