An unemployed man who told the court that he didn't steal a gold chain that was found in his possession is to serve nine months in prison after he was sentenced in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
Mugarvey Walker, 20, who has been charged with robbery with aggravation, is accused of robbing a female complainant along the roadway in the corporate area recently.

Walker who is from Kingston 14, was sentenced by Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey.
The court heard that the police witnessed the incident and chased the accused, where the $30,000 gold chain was found in his possession.
"A nuh me tek di chain. Dem find me with the chain, but a nuh me do di act," Walker said, before RM Pusey reminded him that he is just as guilty of the offence.
