Forty-four-year-old Uriel James, otherwise called 'Rooksie', a businessman and reputed area leader from Rose Town, St Andrew, was remanded in custody when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court on murder charges yesterday.

James is scheduled to return to court on Monday, December 1, 2014.

James, who police believe to be responsible for several murders and shootings, was arrested by the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Task Force (MOCA) in Constant Spring, St Andrew, on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
