A man who is said to be wanted in a case of robbery with aggravation was held at the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday, while attending as an accused in another matter.

The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m., as the now suspect sat calmly in the waiting area of the court.

'Lo and behold' the alleged complainant walked up to the policeman and related to them what had happened to him a year ago after being held up and robbed by the accused of money and valuables.

He was then taken into custody by personnel manning the court. Soon thereafter, detectives from the St Catherine North Police Division came and whisked him away to the Spanish Town lock-up.

Police investigators told The Star that the now suspect was facing the court on a case of possession of ganja and he is slated to be charged as the file is completed.
