The police in Manchester say the main suspect in connection with two marijuana seizures in the parish will head to court this week.
Delroy Spence, 46, of Ebenezer in the parish, is facing several charges.
On July 5 last year, members of the Area 3 Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division conducted a raid at premises in Ebenezer and seized 1,500 pounds of the drug.
A second operation was conducted at the same premises on January 20 of this year, during which marijuana seeds weighing three pounds were seized.
Spence, who was subsequently taken into custody, is charged with possession of, dealing in, taking steps to export marijuana as well as using premises to store the drug.
