Member of Parliament for west Kingston, Desmond McKenzie, yesterday urged residents who had information regarding the alleged police killing of a 19-year-old man in the community on Thursday afternoon, to come forward.
"The only way I am going to be able to assist, to prove that he was shot under questionable circumstances is for those persons who saw what took place to come forward. I want some people who are going to be willing for me to take them up to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) for them to give a statement. I want them now!" McKenzie said.
Several residents on North Street expressed discontent and accused the police of killing Tevin Davis otherwise known as 'Little Man' of a Milk Lane, Kingston 14 address. No gun was recovered from the dead man.
They claimed that Davis was urinating near the gully when he was shot and killed.

However, Head of the Kingston Western Division, Senior Superintendent of Police Steve McGregor, said that Davis was shot and injured in the past in gang-related incidents and that on Thursday he was killed during an alleged confrontation with the police in the Bond and Regent Street area.
"On this occasion that we're speaking of there was contact with four men armed with rifles and handguns with my officers in the Bond Street and Regent Street area and a shoot-out ensued. They reached into the gully and this man was shot and injured. He was found by my officers in the gully and taken to hospital where unfortunately he died," McGregor said.
McGregor continued that the deceased man was a member of the 'Scare Dem Crew" gang but this statement was also met with opposition by residents.
