A man accused of receiving a number of stolen food products was further remanded when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Charged with receiving stolen property is Obrian Bogle.
The court heard that the accused man received items including one tin of mackerel, one tin of butter beans, a box of corn flakes cereal, one package of oats porridge, two boxes of flavoured drink mixes, a pound of flour, two pounds of rice, and a box of macaroni and cheese.
"You knew that they were not lawfully purchased?" asked Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey.
"No, Your Honour," Bogle replied.
Subsequently, the sitting magistrate ordered the accused man to return to court on August 26 for trial. Additionally, a fingerprint order was made against him.
